Are you seeking a way to acquire more keys in Geometry Dash? These keys are a critical asset, especially when the goal is to obtain rewards from the Treasure Room. Securing keys is best achieved through the collection of Mana Orbs, and the simplest method is by claiming your daily boxes. Continue perusing for insights on garnering Demon Keys, obtaining unique colored keys, and the purposes these keys serve.

Methods to Obtain Keys in Geometry Dash

The optimal strategy to secure keys involves gathering Mana Orbs from rated stages. Accumulate 500 Mana Orbs from these stages, and you’re rewarded with a Demon Key. Additionally, each daily box you unveil may present you with a chance for up to one Demon Key.

Gaining Demon Keys

Optimal method: Collecting Mana Orbs from stages.

The most effective route to securing keys (termed Demon Keys by many in the Geometry Dash community) is through the accumulation of Mana Orbs from stages. Each 500 orbs collected translates into a key. Note that orbs from boxes do not contribute toward the acquisition of a Demon Key.

You will need to engage in a rated stage to collect Mana Orbs. Different difficulty ratings yield varying amounts of Mana Orbs as follows:

  • Easy: 50 Orbs
  • Normal: 75 Orbs
  • Hard: 125-175 Orbs
  • Harder: 225-275 Orbs
  • Insane: 350-435 Orbs
  • Demon: 500 Orbs

Simplest method: Access daily boxes. Two varieties of daily boxes exist in Geometry Dash: a small box (accessible every 4 hours) and a more sizable box (available every 24 hours). Both types offer a chance at granting you up to one Key upon opening.

Securing Colored Keys

The Blue Key: Earned by triumphing in the Chaos Gauntlet, this key is one of the elements necessary to unlock the Basement. The Chaos Gauntlet remains concealed until you interact with the blue seal within the Basement.

The Green Key: This is another requisite key for the Basement, obtained by opening the foremost large box found on the third page of the Treasure Room. To gain access to this particular box, 50 boxes must be opened.

The Orange Key: As the final necessary key to unlock the Basement, it is found in the Chamber of Time. Access is granted by engaging the "ground" located in the center of the "Coming Soon" screen, which is part of the main level slider. An orange seal must be activated to reveal a secret door on the "Coming Soon" screen. Purchasing the Master Emblem for 1,000 Mana Orbs from the Secret Shop is necessary to access the Chamber of Time. This shop is unlocked after reaching the ultimate screen of the Treasure Room and spending 500 Diamonds.

The Purple Key: After the Blue, Green, and Orange keys are used in the Basement, a box granting the Purple Key will emerge. This key’s purpose is to unlock the Demon Gauntlet.

Entering the Treasure Room: To gain entry, you require five Demon Keys. Access is through a door located in the bottom-right sector of the Creator Menu.

Opening boxes in the Treasure Room: These boxes in the Treasure Room have varying key costs.

  • Silver Boxes: 1 Demon Key
  • Gold Boxes: 5 to 10 Demon Keys
  • Tier 2 Boxes: 25 to 100 Demon Keys
