Beloved voice talents from the critically acclaimed titles GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 are set to helm the much-anticipated Future Games Show. The event is scheduled for presentation at Gamescom 2024, commencing on Wednesday, August 21st, and promises a suite of fresh trailers and updates on forthcoming video game releases.
Ned Luke, known for his role as Michael De Santa in GTA V, will co-host the digital broadcast alongside Alex McKenna, who voiced Sadie Adler in Red Dead Redemption 2. The pairing was revealed in a tweet issued by the event organizers on a recent Tuesday.
Audiences can tune into the Future Games Show on Wednesday at 1 pm PT, 4 pm ET, and 10 pm CEST. The event will stream on YouTube, where the official channel already features a teaser video with Ned and Alex discussing the event on stage.
During the stream, which is set to run for approximately 90 minutes, the video game Civilization VII will take center stage among the announcements. Beyond that, viewers can look forward to a series of surprise game reveals. As a benchmark, the previous summer event showcased in excess of 50 games within a similar timeframe.
